‘The Black Dawn Event’ is a feature film production currently in development based on a treatment written Logan Thoreau, founder and Executive Producer of Thoreau Entertainment, LLC.

Synopsis:

A massive Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) heaves super-charged pieces of the sun into our planet, overwhelming the earth’s protective magnetic field, causing our electrical infrastructure to overload and collapse. Worldwide power outages throw the world into chaos, creating havoc on a scale not seen in human history.

After weeks without power, and no clear information from the government, New York City becomes an increasingly dangerous place. Three young roommates are forced to leave their home and find sanctuary at a parent’s bunker 20 miles north. However, they must battle nature, other survivors, and each other to make it through this disaster alive.
